A considered approach.

To support a more sustainable approach and help reduce the transport-related carbon emissions associated with unnecessary returns and exchanges, we encourage you to take a moment before placing your order. Please review the product details, dimensions and materials carefully, and choose pieces you will enjoy for years to come. If you have any questions, we are here to help before you purchase. This encouragement does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Except where required by applicable law, we do not offer discretionary returns or exchanges for change of mind, personal preference, or reasonable natural variations that are consistent with the product description.

Your statutory rights

Where an EU statutory right of withdrawal applies, you may notify us of your decision within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. Please email lafunnybones@gmail.com with your order number and the items concerned. Once you have notified us, goods must normally be sent back within a further 14 days. We will provide the return address and shipping instructions.

You are responsible for the direct cost of a change-of-mind return where permitted by law and disclosed before purchase. For a full-order statutory withdrawal, we will reimburse the applicable payments, including the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery option, as required by law. Any additional cost of an upgraded delivery service is not included.

Where EU withdrawal rules apply, reimbursement is due within 14 days of your notification, but may be withheld until we receive the goods or evidence that they have been sent back, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise without additional fees.

Exchanges & alternative resolutions

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would prefer another piece, please follow the applicable returns process and place a new order after your refund has been processed.

THE BEAUTY OF INDIVIDUALITY

Every pearl, its own character.

Natural pearls vary in shape, contours, surface characteristics and lustre. Your pearls may therefore differ from those shown in our photographs. Reasonable variations consistent with the product description are part of their natural character and are not, by themselves, manufacturing defects.

This does not exclude your rights where an item is faulty, damaged or materially different from its description.

Return condition & assessment

Please handle jewellery carefully when inspecting or trying it on. Where applicable law permits, we may reduce a refund by an objectively justified amount reflecting actual loss in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess the item, including customer-caused scratches, deformation or damage.

To help us provide return instructions, please contact us before dispatch and, where possible, provide clear, high-resolution photographs of the item, including close-ups of any marks or damage. Photographs are for preliminary assessment and are not a condition for exercising a statutory right of withdrawal.

The final condition assessment takes place after receipt. Any proposed deduction will be explained and supported by relevant evidence. Damage or defects present on delivery will not be treated as damage caused by you.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Please contact us with your order number, a description of the issue and, where possible, photographs. We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy under applicable law. We will cover the necessary return costs for confirmed faults or incorrect items supplied by us.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights.
